MEET SOLRISE 108
Hi! I'm Tracy, a certified Yoga Instructor (200 RYT) and a certified practitioner of Mindful Resilience Yoga (MRY) for anxiety and trauma recovery. Based in Virginia Beach, VA, I offer both in-person and online classes. I specialize in yoga for beginners, those with high stress & anxiety, and those who seek increased flexibility. The name SolRise 108 was born out of my love for the sun and water elements. There are many interpretations of the significance of the number 108. Traditionally, malas, or garlands of prayer beads, come as a string of 108 beads (plus one for the "guru bead"). Also, sun salutations are often performed in nine rounds of the 12 postures which totals 108 poses. In addition to teaching with SolRise 108, I am a volunteer instructor for the non-profit Veterans Yoga Project where I share MRY with veterans, active duty and their families. Yoga is accessible for all types of body shapes and sizes, and I love sharing the practice and tools with others to help themselves. If you can breathe, you can do yoga! Om Shanti.

BREATHWORK & GENTLE YOGA / MINDFUL RESILIENCE YOGA (MRY)
This FREE class is open to US military veterans, active duty, & their families. This is a low-intensity class that involves movement/breath/meditation tools of Mindful Resilience. This class is geared specifically for those new to yoga or for those who are interested in a gentle practice. Slower-paced movements and positions will focus on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. Additionally, meditation, yogic breathwork, and relaxation will create a well-rounded and gentle Mindful Resilience practice.
